Amparo Poch y Gascón born Zaragosa, Spain October 15, 1902 (d. 1968). Spanish doctor, novelist, and anti-war poet; anarchist; pacifist; feminist. Founding president of WRI affiliate Hispanic League Against War, opposing Civil War, 1936. Organized refugee evacuation.
