Sought improvement of conditions for Japanese-American internees. American Association of University Women (AAUW) representative to United Nations conference, San Francisco, 1945. Promoted League of Nations Non-Partisan Association, National Council for the Prevention of War, Conference on the Cause and Cure of War, National Committee on Japanese Relations, Near East Relief Organization, and Institute of Pacific Relations.
