Toni Sender (née Sidonie Sender) born Biebrich, Wiesbaden, Germany November 29, 1888 (d. 1964). German Jewish socialist pacifist. Actively opposed World War I. Editor-in-chief Frauenwelt, 1927. Socialist member of Reichstag, 1920-33. Exiled 1933; fled to US. Actively involved with UN, serving on Commission on the Status of Women and the Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA).
